Wachesaw East of Murrells Inlet is one of those staple communities in the area most certainly worth your consideration. The community screams "Murrells Inlet" and is located close to just about everything the beautiful Inlet Low Country area has to offer.

1. Location
Wachesaw East is perfectly situated to EVERYTHING Murrells Inlet has to offer. You seriously couldn't ask for a more convenient location!
- 1 Mile to the famous Murrells Inlet Marshwalk (golf cart ride away)
- 1 Mile to the Wacca Wache Marina

- Literally walking distance to the Tidelands Waccamaw Hospital
- Access to the Waccamaw Bike Trail right outside the community gate
- Close to ALL shopping

Wachesaw East is highly recognized for its more matured landscaping and beautiful foliage throughout the grounds of the community.
Unlike many other communities where all the land has been cleared for newer housing developments, Wachesaw East offers residents an established feel and loads of beautiful wildlife.
The community itself is situated around the lovely Wachesaw East public golf course, which naturally has its fair share of trees. In addition to the golf course foliage, this community started development back in the 90's and the landscaping has had plenty of time to mature over the years.
2. Amenities
The community amenities are something that also set Wachesaw East apart from what can seem to be the larger crowd of housing developments in the area. Although there are some other communities that offer great amenities, there are very few that can compare with some of the features and benefits here in Wachesaw East.

3. Style of Housing & Condos
Wachesaw East consists of a total of 5 various single family home, condo, and townhome neighborhoods. Below is a brief overview of each.
Construction of the single family homes in Wachesaw East started in the late 1990's and continued several years into the early 2000's. Homes range in size anywhere from 1,200 - 4,000+ square feet. Although most of the homes were built by the national builder, DR Horton, there are some fully custom built homes within the gates.
Most of the homes within the community are single level or single level with some bonus/guest living space upstairs. Many of the homes also offer garages and porches.
Many of the home sites are situated directly on the golf course, lovely ponds, or back-up to private wooded areas.

Grand Villa Condos (townhouse feel):
Grand Villa is a condo community located right smack in the middle of Wachesaw East. This is a very small community and listings hardly ever come up for sale. So, it may be that there is currently nothing for sale at the time you are searching for your next home.
Although the actual classification of these buildings are an HPR/Condo, they still look and live like a traditional townhome (Contact Us for further details or to be placed on the waiting hotlist for this community).
Each of these units feature a garage and only share a common wall with the neighboring units. Meaning you'll have no worry of someone below or above you!
And yes, Landscaping is included in the HOA dues!
Shawdowbrooke is another very small townhome community located near the back gate of Wachesaw East. This is a very small community and like Grand Villa listings hardly ever come up for sale. So, it may be that there is currently nothing for sale at the time you are searching for your next home.
Each of these units feature a garage and only share a common wall with the neighboring units. Meaning you'll have no worry of someone below or above you!
And yes, Landscaping is included in the HOA dues!
Winchester condos are located near the rear gate of the community and many of the units offer sprawing golf course views.
This is also the only community within Wachesaw East that offers owners access to 2 pools. There is a pool designated for only Winchester owners; however, residents also gain access to the larger community pool.
This community offers 2, 3, and 4 bedroom floor plans ranging from roughly 1,600-1,800 heated square feet.
Winchester is made up of several 2 level condo buildings (8 units in each building). There are both 1st and 2nd floor units. There are no elevators, so if looking at a second level unit you will be climbing stairs. However, it is worth mentioning the benefit of the 2nd floor units (No one above you and the upper units do feature soaring cathedral ceilings).
Every unit in the building is considered to be an "end unit" so each unit is flooded with lovely natural light.
~ One very nice feature of this specific community is the courtyard type patio area for each building. It is quite uncommon to find condo buildings in our area that allow gas grills. Well, because of this common patio area, each building is allowed to have a gas grill on-site.
Very similar to the Winchester condos mentioned above, Wyngate offers both golf and waterfront condos. This condo community is located just inside the front gate of the community.
Like Winchester, this community offers both 1st and 2nd floor units.
Many of the features at Wyngate are similar to that of Winchester; however, there is a key difference worth noting.
Unlike Winchester, this community does have units that offer detached garage/storage space. Not every unit within Wyngate offers these garages, but there are many within the community. Please contact us for additional info.
